DeVenCI’s Information Technology (IT) Sector operates under the leadership of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Networks & Information Integration) / Department of Defense Chief Information Officer.  This sector’s goal is to foster more rapid identification and deployment of new technologies that make the acquisition, transmission, and use of information a strategic and tactical advantage to the Department of Defense.  The DOD CIO works closely with Defense Information System Agency  (DISA) and the National Security Agency (NSA)  to develop comprehensive IT architectures.
